I've recently been looking for new concept artists with a retro feel. Don Shank work on some of the concept art for UP which is where I found his name and some of his art work.
His art can be angular and curved at the same time. Although his drawings are stable and structured, they are loose at the same time. Its retro, simple and fashionable. This is the style that I would love to adopt and take pointers from.
